Dan Jakobe
Senior Vice President, Finance
Dan Jakobe joined Gateway in 2025 and now serves as Gateway’s Senior Vice President of Finance. He brings more than 20 years of experience across finance, underwriting, consulting, and client management within the healthcare and pharmacy benefits industries. Before joining Gateway, Dan held leadership roles at Optum and UnitedHealth Group for over 15 years. He was also Principal Pharmacy Consultant at Mercer, where he led pharmacy-focused RFPs, contract reviews, and strategic client engagements.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Finance and Accounting from Iowa State University and an MBA in Finance from Hamline University.
