Sr. Analyst, Finance

OVERVIEW

Gateway Health Partners is seeking a dynamic, team-focused Financial Analyst. This position will report to the Sr Director, Margin Analytics and will be responsible for some for the GHP monthly accounting activates. This role requires a self-motivated attitude, great organizational skills, and demonstrated analytical skills.

This is a remote-based position where you may work from your home office.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively; project management skills a plus
  • A high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Consistently demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Consistent attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Support the monthly creation of one business units rebate revenue and cost of sales accrual
  • Update the margin by client file on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the business units rebate submission process
  • Download, organize and track reports from vendors
  • Provide support for any imports and journal entries into the general ledger
  • Calculate quarterly payment between business units
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of client margin as needed
  • Performing other job-related responsibilities, as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience
  • PBM experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of reporting and/or analytics using large data sets
  • Experience with SQL preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills required
  • Contract experience preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple deadlines while delivering excellent results
  • Rebate experience a plus
  • Alteryx experience a plus

JOB SUMMARY

This position will report to the Finance Manager and will work in the rebate payment functions of one of our BU’s. This role requires a self-motivated attitude, great organizational skills, and demonstrated analytical skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support and analysis for the rebate payment process for one of the companies BU’s.  The process includes but is not limited to the following items: pulling large data sets to create ad hoc client and internal reporting, assisting the team with recurring rebate payment and reporting deliverables, and supporting client services with client questions and requests related to rebates.
  • Oversee the implementation of new and modified client rebate terms by reviewing new contracts and amendments and inputting the set up.
  • Support requests from Underwriting for client rebate data.
  • Participation in the implementation of automation for calculating client payments and creation of reporting for one of the BU’s.
  • Oversee reporting and underlying data strategy for marquee rebate clients.
  • Assist the Senior Director, Rebate Accounting with cash flow and client payable analysis, and other initiatives as needed.

  • Must be able to operate office, business, and accounting machines.
